A Study of the Relationship Between Self


Abstract
The present study was attempted to seek the relationship between self that perceived by oneself and self that perceived by the other.
Among multiple personality scales, four scales were selected for this study-"Activity
scale", "Sociability scale", "Hypochondriasis scale", "Psychasthenia scale".
That is, the following problems were the main concerns,
1. What relationships are there between self that perceived by oneself and self that perceived by the other?
2. What relationships are there between self that perceived by parents and by oneself in particular?
3. Are there consistency and validity in the self that perceived by oneself? for this study, this survey was conducted utilizing the mass method of personality inventory.
The results of this study are summarized as follows :
1. There is a positive relationship between the self-concept and the self that perceived by the other.
2. There is a high positive relationship between the self concept and the self that perceived by parents.
3. There is consistence trend in self-concept perceived by oneself.
The result of the present study are interpreted to the sampled research organization of this study and are not extended to any other age-group.
